Folger 5
The Folger 5 is a husband and wife duo consisting of Gary and Katie, and their three kids: Jackson, Lila, and Scarlett, who have lived in Granbury for the past 6 years. Starting as a bartender at a restaurant in California, Gary’s dream was always to open a restaurant. After being a stay at home mom for several years, Katie was ready to get back out in the work force. Coming home from work one day, they saw an article in the Hood County News that a restaurant called Christina’s in downtown Granbury was hiring.
The Folger 5
Katie applied and was hired as a waitress. A year later, when the owners decided to sell, they sat down with Gary and came up with a plan. The Folger 5 have worked hard since buying the restaurant, bringing with them their extensive knowledge of the restaurant business and a desire to start something special in Granbury. They have cultivated a place that every resident in the area can’t wait to come try out, and once they do, can’t wait to come back.
